Heart

The wheel of life’s desires represents the cycle of existence. We struggle with our day to day choices and desires. However, most of us desire to remove drama, chaos, pain and suffering from our lives. We each want, in our own way, to transform ourselves into our highest potential and to reach peace and contentment. We take unique paths to get there, peeling at the layers of these different paths.

Desires:

  • Desire for material things

  • Desire to constantly beat the competition, getting to the top, and winning at all cost

  • Insatiable desire accompanied with greed, jealousy that turns into obsessiveness, compulsions and obsessions

  • Self-destructive desires (angry and abusive people that drive others away)

  • Comfort-seeking desires at any price (people who are uncurious and repelled by anything unfamiliar – fearful people.

  • Desire to question, curiosity, and connection. You can free yourself from chaos here, if you don’t get caught up with insatiable ambition, consumption and materialism, and miss the opportunity to grow in service, sharing and giving.

To get off the wheel of drama, suffering, and selfish desires, we want to peel away the forces of negativity, each unique to us, removing the forces of greed, anger, and ignorance.

We want to learn to open our hearts and to choose the Right Desire for ourselves, each with our unique curiosity, gifts, talents, and passions. We want to treat others the way we want to be treated, and to change our desires to receive, in the purpose of sharing with all since we are connected, all in one.

There is no action or non-action without a reaction. We live in a world of cause and effect. We want to transform into accountable, mature and responsible human beings. We want to choose intentions, beliefs, thoughts, words and actions that benefit everyone and everything around us for generations to come. We want to choose to and learn to amend and fix what we have done wrong as much as we can, one small choice and action at a time. We want to practice forgiveness to free ourselves from the past and learn to appreciate more of the positive and good around us every day. Doing so, the world will become more peaceful and we, along with other living beings, the environment, and the universe, will heal and regenerate. Desires are what propel us out of fears and into growth mode. Consequently choosing the right desires and nourishing them becomes very important.
